Ingredients to make Sooji Appey

  • 1 Cup - Semolina
  • 1/4 Cup - Yogurt
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • 3 - Chopped green chilies
  • Turmeric -1/4 tsp
  • 1 - Onion, chopped
  • Finely chopped cilantro
  • 1 - Tomato
  • Green peas - 3-4 tbs
  • Baking soda - 1/4 tsp

How to make Sooji Appey

  1. Take dry roasted semolina in a bowl and add all the ingredients to make a batter with water. Keep it for 10 minutes.
  2. Now heat the appe pan and dizzle few drops of oil, add batter to the pan cover the lid of appe pan.
  3. Cook for 5 minutes from each side and as soon as it turns golden brown serve it hot with chutney or sauce.
