Fried Beans

Ingredients to make Fried Beans

  • Beans Chopped - 2 Cup
  • Onion - 1 large, chopped
  • Tomato - 1 large, chopped
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tsp
  • Fresh grated coconut - 1/2 Cup
  • Peanuts - 5
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

How to make Fried Beans

  1. Heat 1 tsp oil, add beans and cook on low flame stirring continuously. Once fried take them out in a plate.
  2. Put coconut powder, sesame seeds and peanut in the same pan and stir until they get brown. Roughly grind this mixture.
  3. Now heat 1tsp oil add cumin seeds, let them crackle and then add ginger garlic paste. Add onion and cook it till it turns brown. Add tomatoes and mix well. Cook till they soften. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder and stir.
  4. Add cooked beans and mix well, add the coconut mixture in it. Add garam masala and salt and mix. Stir it for two minutes.
  5. Turn off the gas, take it out in a serving dish and serve.
My Tip: I use the seeds of the beans too. You can omit if it doesn't suit you.
