Chicken Tikki Curry

Ingredients to make Chicken Tikki Curry

  • Boneless chicken - 4-5 pieces
  • Salt as per taste
  • Red chili powder - 1 tbs
  • Turmeric - 1/2 tbs
  • Saunf powder - 1/2 tbs
  • Green chilies - 2
  • Coriander - 1 tbs
  • Chicken masala - 1/2 tbsp
  • Kasoori methi - 1/2 tbsp
  • Egg white of one egg
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Yogurt - 1 Cup

How to make Chicken Tikki Curry

  1. Mince chicken with red chili powder, turmeric, saunf powder, coriander, green chilies and salt. Mix egg white.
  2. Make small tikkies out of it and deep fry them till golden in color.
  3. In another pan heat 2 tbs of oil and add half tablespoon red chiili powder, turmeric powder, saunf powder, chicken masala, kasoori methi and salt, chopped coriander. Add two tablespoon water and stir. Switch off the gas and let it cool.
  4. Add whisked curd and switch on the gas stove. Stir it continuously so that curd does not curdle.
  5. Add fried tikkis in the gravy and cook for 10 minutes. Chicken tikkis can be had with roti or rice separately too.
