Ingredients to make Chicken Submarine

  • Bread rolls - 4
  • Mayonnaise - 5 tbsp
  • Garlic - 4-5 pieces, chopped
  • Carrots - 2 thinly sliced
  • Capsicum - 1 thinly sliced
  • Spring onion - a bunch
  • Boneless chicken - 5-6 pieces shredded
  • Black pepper - 2 tsp
  • Oregano - 3 tsp
  • Chili flakes - 1 tsp
  • Parsley - 2 tsp
  • Butter - 2 tbsp

How to make Chicken Submarine

  1. Pressure cook the chicken with salt and garlic. Shred and keep aside.
  2. Heat butter in a pan and add chopped carrots and capsicum then add the chicken and mix well. Add the spring onions, turn off the heat and mix the mayonnaise and parsley, pepper, oregano and chilli flakes.
  3. Cut open the bread into half and lavishly apply mayonnaise. Add the stuffing.
  4. Toast the bread in a pan on low heat for a minute. Remove in a plate and enjoy your chicken submarine
My Tip: Use fresh bread for this dish.
