ABOUT Spiced Paneer RECIPE

Home made soft spongy spiced paneer. Have it as it is or use in gravies, salads or for making pakoda.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 litre - Milk
  2. 1 tablespoon - Vinegar
  3. Salt to taste
  4. 1 teaspoon - Chilly flakes
  5. 1/2 teaspoon - Ajwain
  6. 1 teaspoon - Kasuri methi

Instructions

  1. Boil milk and add vinegar. Mix till greenish water separates or the milk curdles.
  2. Add all the spices, mix well and strain the mixture in a muslin cloth.
  3. Remove all the whey. Gather the paneer in a cheese cloth and tie a knot. Keep it pressed under some heavy object for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Spiced paneer is ready to use. Either cut into squares / slices or scramble.
