Traditional kulfi with an added flavor of mouth freshner .

Mukhwas kulfi

Ingredients to make Mukhwas kulfi

  • 1 litre - full cream milk
  • 3/4 cup or 100 gms - sugar
  • 4 tsp - mukhwaas
  • a few drops red food colour

How to make Mukhwas kulfi

  1. Bring the milk to boil in a sauce pan, add the mukhwas or the substitute of it to milk .
  2. Simmer the flame, thicken the milk to the consistency of rabdi. Keep it stirring frequently by scraping the sides.
  3. Stir in few drops of red colour and transfer to a box and refrigerate over night .

My Tip:

If you wish you can crush and add mukhwas to milk ,but chunks of it gives the feel of paan.
