Cheesy Corn Cutlet

Ingredients to make Cheesy Corn Cutlet

  • Boiled Corn - 1 cup
  • Boiled potatoes - 1 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Jeera Powder - 1 tsp
  • Dry Mango powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Sooji/Semolina - 2 tbsp
  • Fresh Coriander leaves - few chopped
  • Bread crumbs - 1/2 Cup
  • Egg white - 1 [optional]
  • Mozzarella - 100 gms - cut into small half inch cubes
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - to fry

How to make Cheesy Corn Cutlet

  1. Add boiled corn to mixer jar and grind coarsely. ‘Don’t turn into paste’.
  2. Take a bowl and corasely ground corn along with mashed boiled potatoes, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, dry mango powder, sooji, egg white, coriander and salt. Combine well.
  3. Add little bread crumbs and combine. On a plate spread remaining bread crumbs and set aside.
  4. Add oil to a frying pan for shallow frying. Grease your palms with little oil and take small amount of mixture and flatten it with your fingers. Place a piece of mozzarella cheese in the centre.
  5. You can make patties of your desired shape. Gently roll these patties in bread crumbs on both the sides until well coated.
  6. Shallow fry this till they turn golden on both the sides. Drain on to kitchen absorbent and serve hot with ketchup.
