Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer - 250 grams
  2. Sugar 1 cup
  3. Milk - 1tbsp
  4. Kewra essence - 2-3 drops
  5. Icing sugar as required

Instructions

  1. For syrup : Boil sugar with one cup of water stirring continuously till the sugar dissolves. Add a tsp of milk and collect scum from the top of the syrup and discard. Cook the syrup to one thread consistency then turn off the flame.
  2. Add paneer cubes cut evenly and cook till the syrup coats the paneer cubes completely.
  3. Remove from heat add kewra essence and mix it till cubes are thoroughly coated with syrup and separated from each other.
  4. Arrange in serving plate and sprinkle icing sugar.
