Ingredients to make Moong Daal With Lehsun Tadka

  • Moong daal - 150 grams
  • Ghee - 5 tsp
  • Garlic - 10 cloves
  • Green chilies - 2 ( cut in medium size)
  • Whole red chilli ( khadi lal mirch) - 4
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - as required
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing

How to make Moong Daal With Lehsun Tadka

  1. Wash the daal very well and set aside.
  2. In a pressure cooker put moong daal, 5 cloves of garlic, chopped green chilies, turmeric powder, salt, khadi lal mirch with 6 cups of water. Cook it till 4 whistles. After 4 whistles check if the dal became soft or not, it should be dissolved completely.

  4. In an another pan heat ghee and add remaining garlic sloves, fry them till golden brown.
