ABOUT Green Apple And Avocado Halwa RECIPE

Healthy three ingredient low calorie dessert made with jaggery instead of sugar. I have used green apples and avocado.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 - Green Apple, peeled and grated
  2. 1 - Avocado, peeled and mashed
  3. 3/4 cup - Jaggery powder
  4. 1/4 tsp - Cardamom powder
  5. 1 tsp - Ghee
  6. 2 tsp - Coconut milk, thick

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a nonstick pan.
  2. Once the ghee warms, add green apple and avocado. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stir in between. If the mixture is too thick then add some water.
  3. Now add jaggery and 2 - 3 tsp of coconut milk. Again cook for 5-7 minutes or until jaggery melts down completely.
  4. Stir the halwa continuously on medium heat until all the water dries up completely.
  5. Add cardamom powder and serve hot or at room temperature.
  6. You can keep it in the fridge for 3-4 days. Heat it before serving.
