How to make Sago Potato Papad

  1. Take 1 cup sago in a grinder jar and make fine powder. Soak the sago powder in warm water for 6 hours. After 6 hours the sago powder will swell up. Break the lumps and keep aside.
  2. Boil Potatoes and peel them. Grate the potatoes and add to the soaked sago powder. Add cumin seeds and salt to taste. Mix everything very well.
  3. Now take a clean plastic sheet. Make small balls of the sago potato mixture. apply little water to your hands if the dough is sticky. Spread the ball into a thin disk with the help of fingers. Make all the papads similarly.
  4. Sun dry the papads for 1-2 days. Store them in a air tight container and use as per need.

My Tip:

If the sago potato dough is sticky and you are not able to spread them into a round shape using your fingers then keep a greased plastic sheet above the dough ball and spread.
