Ingredients to make Turmeric pickle

  • Raw turmeric 1 kg
  • Musturd oil 300 gm.
  • Fennel 1-2tsp
  • Musturd seeds 1-2tsp
  • Red chilli powder according to taste
  • Salt according to taste

How to make Turmeric pickle

  1. Take raw turmeric .Peel it then wash it nicely.
  2. Dry under fan cut into small pieces
  3. Put oil in pan add musturd seeds let them crackle
  4. Add driedturneric and mix well add fennel and some salt and red chilli powder to taste
  5. Keep mixing on mild gas for5-7minutes
  6. Allow to cool store in glass jar.
My Tip: If you want to store for long immerse in oil.
