ABOUT Lal / Hari Mirch Ka Achaar RECIPE

A spicy and delicious pickle made from red / green chilies.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Large red chilli - 1/2kg
  2. Large green chilli - 1/2 kg
  3. Amchoor powder - 1 Cup
  4. Powdered mustard seed- 2 Cup
  5. Fennel seed - 1 Cup
  6. Salt - 1 Cup
  7. Haldi - 1/2 cup
  8. Mustard oil - 6 Cup
  9. Asafoetida - 11/2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Remove stalk from chilies and slit them from the center.
  2. Mix together all masalas except oil Then ad oil and mix again.
  3. Stuff the masala in red/green chilies pressing the masala firmly. Dip each chilli into oil and place it in container. Pour rest oil over it.
  4. Keep it under the sun for about a week then use it as desired.
