Indian Tacos

Ingredients to make Indian Tacos

  • 2 - Boiled potatoes
  • 2 Tablespoon - Boiled green peas
  • 1/2 teaspoon - Garam masala
  • 1/4th teaspoon - Coriander powder
  • 1/4th teaspoon - Turmeric powder
  • 1/4th teaspoon - Chili powder
  • 2 tablespoon - Chopped coriander
  • 1/4th teaspoon - Jeera powder
  • 1/4th teaspoon - Amchur powder
  • Some tamarind chutney
  • A bowl​ of sev for garnish
  • 1 - Chopped onion
  • 1 - Chopped tomato
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon - Mustard seeds
  • 1 tablespoon - Oil
  • For the Tortilla : 1 Cup flour
  • 2 teaspoon - Wheat flour
  • 3 teaspoon - Rava
  • Oil for frying
  • Water for kneading the dough

How to make Indian Tacos

  1. Mix Rava and flour with some water and make a tight dough just as we make for samosas and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Then make small balls and roll out in circles​ and make some holes on it with a fork. Then fry this by giving a shape of Tortilla.
  3. Meanwhile heat some oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and all the spice powders. Then add boiled vegetables and make the stuffing.
  4. Now place this stuffing inside the fried  Tortilla and then sprinkle some onions, tomatoes and drizzle with tamarind chutney and garnish with coriander leaves and Sev.

My Tip:

You can make variation in the stuffing by adding some other ingredients of your choice.
