Ingredients to make Lobiya masala one pot one shot

  • 1 katori overnight soaked lobiya
  • 2 medium sized peeled onion
  • 2-3 medium sized tomatoes
  • 1bsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1tsp jeera
  • 1tsp dhaiya powder
  • Pinch of hing
  • 1tsp haldi

How to make Lobiya masala one pot one shot

  1. add onions, tomato, green chillies in a mixer and grind them to make paste
  2. now take a cooker. Layer mixer grinded paste,layer lobiya, add ginger garlic paste
  3. on top layer jeera , haldi, hing, dhaniya powder.
  4. add 4 cups of water
  5. now close the cooker and keep on high for around 6 whistles.
  6. now sim the gas and keep for around 3 whistles.
  7. switch off the flame and let the pressure release itself.
  8. Now open the cooker and mix everything and check if the lobiya is soft now.
  9. I gave total 9 whistles. This depends on cooker and quality of lobiya.
  10. Add ghee if u wish while serving.
  11. Serve hot with roti/rice.
