Ingredients to make Phalhari puchka

  • 3 tbsp of semolina or rava
  • 1 tbsp of all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp of cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp of powdered sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup of plain soda
  • 2 tsp of oil
  • Oil for Deep frying
  • A cup of chilled mango ras
  • 1 tbsp of chocolate sauce for garnish

How to make Phalhari puchka

  1. In bowl add all the dry ingredients.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Now add the plain soda with the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Add 1 tsp of oil in the end and knead well.
  5. Grease the dough with the remaining 1 tsp of oil and keep aside for 5 mins. Cover with the lid
  6. Meanwhile take any fruits of your choice and cut them into small cubes....I took bananas.
  7. In a pan heat the oil for frying.
  8. On the other hand start rolling out thin chapatis of the dough
  9. Now with the help of round shaped cutter cut small puris.
  10. Fry them.... don't over do other wise may turn bitter.
  11. Chocolate puris or puchkas are ready to go for final Touch.
  12. Make a hole in the centre and fill in all the puchkas with the fruit.
  13. Top it with chocolate sauce and mango ras.
  14. Serve immediately with chilled mango ras....
  15. You can add chopped dry fruits to add richness to the recipe.
  16. Phalhari puchkas are ready to be enjoyed........
My Tip: You can select single fruit or multiple Fruits....
