Masala Macaroni

Ingredients to make Masala Macaroni

  • Macaroni - 1 packet
  • Tomato - 1
  • Onion - 2
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Green Chillies - 2
  • Dried red chilies - 2
  • Cloves - 2
  • Cassia (tej patta) - 2
  • salt as per taste
  • Red chilli powder - 2 tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Oil - 4-5 tablespoon
  • Maggi e masala - 1 packet
  • Coriender powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Tomato ketchup - 1 tablespoon

How to make Masala Macaroni

  1. Boil macaroni for about 10- 15 minutes in water with 2-3 drops of oil and 1 tablespoon of salt. Strain out all the water from the macaroni when it is done.
  2. Chop the onions, garlic, tomatoes and grind then into a coarse paste.
  3. Warm oil in a pan. Then add mustard seeds, cloves, cassia, dried red chilies and saute them for 6-7 sec. Add the tomato, onion, garlic paste to the pan and add turmeric. Let it cool till the paste leaves the sides of the pan.
  4. Add maggi e masala, red chilli powder, salt, coriander powder and tomato ketchup and cook for another 6-7 seconds.
  5. Then add boiled macaroni to it and cook for 6-7 seconds and serve hot.
