Tomato semi dry gravy

Ingredients to make Tomato semi dry gravy

  • Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
  • urad dal 1 teaspoon
  • Curry leaves 10 nos
  • Onion one finely chopped
  • Tomatoes 5 nos
  • Daniya powder 1 tablespoon
  • Chilly powder 1 tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  • Salt as required
  • Water

How to make Tomato semi dry gravy

  1. In a pan heat oil and add mustard seeds and Urad dal. As mustard seeds splitters add chopped onion and curry leaves.
  2. Saute till golden brown then add tomatoes.
  3. Then add all masala powders as mentioned in the ingredients one by one and saute it well.
  4. Now finally add water for gravy let it boil for 2- 3 mins.
My Tip: You cab add more Chilly powder for spiciness. It is best side for curd rice, boiled rice, idli, dosas and chapathis.
