Ingredients to make Mango Daliya Layered Payasam

  • Washed and soaked Daliya : 1/2 Cup
  • Milk - 1 Cup
  • Sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Khus syrup - 1 teaspoon
  • Rose syrup - 1 teaspoon
  • Water - 1 Cup
  • Chopped small pieces of mango - 1/2 Cup
  • Pomegranate kernels - 2 tablespoon

How to make Mango Daliya Layered Payasam

  1. First take a pressure cooker and boil Dalia by adding water to it. As soon as it boils add milk, sugar & close the lid of the cooker.
  2. After one whistle switch off the gas. Let it cool on its own.
  3. Now open the lid and let daliya cool a bit.
  4. Now blend it in a blender till it turns into a smooth paste.
  5. Divide Dalia in 3 parts. In one part add khus syrup and mix properly. In second part add rose syrup and mix properly. Don't mix anything in third part.
  6. Take serving glass and first pour natural color daliya. Now very slowly with the help of spoon pour second rose layer of Daliya. In the same way pour third layer of khus daliya In it.
  7. Garnish with mango pieces and pomegranate kernels.
  8. Serve hot or cold.

My Tip:

Dry fruits & chocolate chips can also be added in it.
