Ingredients to make Mango Daliya Layered payasam

  • Washed and soaked Daliya 1/2cup
  • Milk 1cup
  • sugar 1 tablespoon
  • Khus syrup 1 teaspoon
  • Rose syrup 1 teaspoon
  • Water 1cup
  • Chopped small pieces of mango 1/2 cup
  • Pomegranate kernels 2 tablespoon

How to make Mango Daliya Layered payasam

  1. First take a pressure cooker and boil Dalia wid adding water in it.
  2. As soon as it boils add milk , sugar & lid the cooker.
  3. With 1 whistle it is done. It takes just 5 minutes.
  4. Now open the lid and let daliya be bit cool down.
  5. Now blend it with blender till it becomes smooth like a paste.
  6. Divide Dalia in 3 parts.
  7. In one part add khus syrup and mix properly.
  8. In second part add rose syrup and mix properly.
  9. Third part let as it is.
  10. Now three layers are ready.
  11. Take serving glass and first pour natural color daliya.
  12. Now very slowly with the help of spoon pour second rose layer of Daliya.
  13. In the same way pour third layer of khus daliya In it.
  14. At last garnish with mango pieces and pomegranate kernels.
  15. Serve hot or cold.
My Tip: Dry fruits & chocolate chips can also be added in it.
