Chutney Roundals

Ingredients to make Chutney Roundals

  • Poha 1 cup
  • Cottage Cheese 1/2 cup
  • Coconut 1/2 cup
  • Sugar 1/2 tsp
  • Chana daal - 3 tblsp
  • Cashew Powder 2 tblsp
  • salt as per taste
  • All purpose flour or corn flour 1/4 cup
  • Green chilly 1-2 no. or as per taste
  • Red Chilly 1 tsp or as per taste
  • Coriander 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice 2 tsp
  • Jeera powder - 1tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Oil for frying

How to make Chutney Roundals

  1. firstly we will prepare green chutney for filling
  2. Take chana daal,lightly roast and keep aside,Now in a mixer jar add coriander,green chilly,salt,pinch of sugar,chana daal,coconut and grind it well and make it smooth and at last add lemon juice in it .and keep aside
  3. Now Take Poha and wash well
  4. Grind coarsely it in a mixer .Now in this add crumbled Paneer(Cottage cheese)
  5. Now add salt,chilly,cashew powder,Jeera Powder, garam masala and mix well
  6. Now give it a round shape,make a hole and fill the chutney inside and roll it well
  7. and deep fry in oil til golden brown.
My Tip: When grind chutney don't add much water ,only one or 2 tsp will be enough if required otherwise it wont be fill inside the rolls. Grind Poha coarsely and dont soak ,just wash and use immediately Fry on medium heat so that it could cook well. you can use olive oil for frying to make it healthier.
