Schezwan Noodles

Ingredients to make Schezwan Noodles

  • Carrots - 2 sliced
  • Bell peppers - Red, Yellow and Green, sliced
  • Baby corn - 5 to 6, sliced
  • Mushrooms - 1 packet, sliced
  • Celery - 1 bunch, sliced ( only stems)
  • Garlic - 10 to 15, sliced
  • Schzwan chutney - 2 tbsp
  • Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  • Vinegar - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Pepper - as per taste
  • Noodles - 1 packet

How to make Schezwan Noodles

  1. Boil noodles. Strain in a colander and set aside.
  2. Stir fry all the veggies separately.
  3. Take a little oil in a hot pan, add garlic and when it turns golden in color add bell peppers, salt and pepper. Cover for 1 minute.
  4. Stir fry carrots and corn together. Stir fry the mushrooms. Keep aside.
  5. In the same pan add a little oil and add garlic, celery and Schezwan sauce. Let it fry for sometime then add soy sauce and vinegar n little sugar.
  6. Add noodles and mix well. Turn off the gas and serve hot.
My Tip: Can add paneer / chicken as well. Celery is the star here.
