ABOUT Uppuma Kozhukattai RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice rava - 1 Cup
  2. Bengal gram - 1 tbs
  3. Red chilli - 2
  4. Curry leaves - 4 or 5
  5. Coconut scrap - 2 tbs
  6. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  7. Oil - 2 tbs
  8. Water - 2 tumblers
  9. Salt - 1 tbs

Instructions

  1. Pour oil on a pan and put mustard seeds. After it splits add Bengal gram and roast.
  2. Now pour water and when it boils add salt, curry leaves, red chilli and coconut.
  3. Now stir well and Upma is ready switch off the flame.
  4. Make balls and steam cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
