Easy Simple Chicken Fry

Ingredients to make Easy Simple Chicken Fry

  • chicken - 300 gms
  • curd - 3 tbsp 
  • peppercorns - 1 tbsp cracked
  • ghee - 2 tbsp 
  • Kashmiri red chillies - 6-7 broken
  • curry leaves - 2 sprigs
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp 
  • salt to taste 
  • water as required

How to make Easy Simple Chicken Fry

  1. Marinate the chicken with curd, pepper, salt to taste and keep aside for sometime. 
  2. Heat ghee in a pan. Add the Kashmiri chilies and saute for a minutes.
  3. Add the chicken, stir and mix well. Cover the pan and cook on low-medium heat for 5-10 mins stirring frequently. Sprinkle little water and continue to cook for 5 mins. Not much water required here. 
  4. Add curry leaves and cook on high heat for 3-5 mins. Add lemon juice and take off the heat. Serve hot.
