Ingredients to make tangy green oats

  • Oats 1cup
  • Spinach 1cup
  • carrot chopped 1/3cup
  • Tomato 1big
  • onion chopped 3tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1/2tsp
  • Green chilli 1
  • Oil 1tsp
  • Water as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder 1/2tsp
  • Lemon juice 1/2tsp

How to make tangy green oats

  1. Heat oil in a cooker add ginger garlic paste and onion and saute for few minuts
  2. Now add chopped spinach tomato and carrot to it and cook for few minuts
  3. Add salt red chilli powder Green chilli and 1/2cup of water and close the lid of cooker
  4. Give 2 whistles and turn off the gas let cooker cools down
  5. Open the lid of the cooker drain exis water of veggies with a seive in a bowl and keep this exess water aside
  6. Now crush the boiled veggies in to a fine paste
  7. Now heat a pan add oats to it and dry roast for a minut
  8. Add paste of vegetables and the water of veggies which was kept aside
  9. Mix well cook for few minuts On medium flame till the oats get cooked properly
  10. If needed add some water
  11. After oats get cooked turn off the gas and add lemon juice to it and serve hot
