Ingredients to make Makhmali Kabab

  • For outer covering : 1 Cup - Boiled and mashed chickpeas.
  • 1 Cup - Boiled and grated potato
  • 1 tablespoons - Bread crumbs
  • 2 teaspoon - Cornflour
  • Handful of green coriander, finely chopped
  • 2 - Green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp - Grated ginger
  • 1/4 tsp - Red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Maggie magic masala
  • 1/4 tsp - Chat masala
  • Salt (according to taste)
  • For stuffing : 2 tablespoons - Hung curd
  • 1 tablespoons - Grated cottage cheese
  • Salt acoording to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

How to make Makhmali Kabab

  1. Mix all the ingredients mentioned under 'outer covering' and make a dough.
  2. Take a bowl and put hung curd, cottage cheese and salt then mix it well.
  3. Drop some oil in your palm then take a small portion of dough and flatten it, place some stuffing on it and roll it in shape of a kabab. Make all kababs similarly.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry kabab very gently till golden brown in color.
  5. Serve it with mint yogurt dip.
My Tip: You can shallow fry it too.
