Scotch Egg Burger

Ingredients to make Scotch Egg Burger

  • 6 hard boiled egg
  • 500 grm boneless chicken roughly chopped
  • 1 onion roughly chopped
  • 5-6 garlic cloves roughly chopped
  • 1 inch ginger roughly chopped
  • 1 red chilli chopped
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • For coating,2 eggs
  • 2 tsp Flour
  • 1 cup bread crum
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder and salt
  • For arrange in burger,6 pieces of cheese slice
  • 6 burger bun
  • Some pieces of salad ingredients like tomato,onion,cucumber,spinach and cabbage leaves
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard sauce
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce

How to make Scotch Egg Burger

  1. Take boneless chicken in grinding jar add all masala like onion,ginger,garlic,salt,both chillies,cumin powder,lemon juice and salt and grind it nicely.
  2. Now break the raw egg in a bowl and mix well,in other side take flour in other bowl,now first coat boiled egg with flour and do the same with all.
  3. Take bread crum in a bowl,add salt and chilli powder in it and mix well.
  4. Now take flour coated egg,now coat with chicken minced well and do the same with all.
  5. Now take one by one chicken coated egg,dip in egg take away from egg mixture and finally coated with bread crum now do the same with all.
  6. Heat oil in pan and fry the all scotch egg nicely to till light brown in colour.
  7. For arrange as a burger,in a bowl add mayonnaise,mustard sauce,and tomato sauce and mix well.
  8. Take a burger bun cut in half,spread some Mayo and mustard sauce mixture,arrange all salad ingredients place cut scotch egg,place cheese slice and cover with other half.
  9. And now it is ready to serve,serve it with tomato sauce or green chutney.
My Tip: Eat it like plain scotch egg,or as a burger or as a open sandwich.
