Healthy Open Sandwich

Ingredients to make Healthy Open Sandwich

  • Whole wheat bread slices - 4
  • Boiled potatoes - 2, medium
  • Grated carrot - 2
  • Finely chopped onion - 1 tablespoon
  • Grated cabbage - 1 tablespoon
  • Cheese slice - 1
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chilli powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive Oil for brushing

How to make Healthy Open Sandwich

  1. First mix all mentioned ingredients except bread and oil.
  2. Mash all the ingredients nicely with hands. Ensure there are no lumps.
  3. Brush oil in a non stick pan and keep it on low flame.
  4. Take a bread slice and spread ready mixture evenly on it.
  5. Now roast mixture side slice on slow flame in the hot pan. When side becomes golden brown flip it.
  6. Roast evenly on both sides till golden brown and crisp. Serve it with ketchup or green chutney.
My Tip: Add vegetables of your choice.
