Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Rava/Semolina : 1 Cup
  2. Milk : 1 Cup mixed with 2 cups of water
  3. Sugar : 1 cup + 2 tbsp. extra if pineapple is sour
  4. Raisins: Handful
  5. Cashew: Handful
  6. Cardamom : 3
  7. Saffron soaked in warm milk
  8. Pineapple chunks : 1 Cup
  9. Pineapple Puree : 1/2 Cup
  10. Ghee or Clarified Butter : 1/2 Cup

Instructions

  1. Add Ghee in kadhai, fry raisins and keep aside. Fry cashews and keep aside.
  2. Now fry the suji in ghee and when it gets nicely roasted then add pineapple chunks and cardamom.
  3. Add pineapple puree, saffron and mix.
  4. Add water and mix well. Let it cook on low flame till your halwa is ready. Serve hot.
