Mango Burfi ( Dessert and mangoes both are my all time favorite) advisable to take the Alphonso Mangoe but ok if you don't have and you can use any of the sweet varieties of perfectly ripened mangoes.

Ingredients to make MANGO BURFI

  • 2 cup Mango pulp
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Khoya/ Mawa
  • 2 tsp Cashews, almond cuts
  • 1 tsp Almonds Cuts
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 200 grm Milk powder
  • 2 tsp ghee

How to make MANGO BURFI

  1. Heat a pan add khoya/mawa & 1 tsp ghee fry it till becomes golden brown.
  2. In the same pan add the mango pulp & stir it continuously in medium flame for 5-10 Minutes.
  3. After 10 minutes add the sugar, milk powder, chopped dry fruits cuts & cardamom powder. Mix it well & stir continuously until it forms a thick fudge.
  4. Grease the tray with ghee, add the mixture & flatten it. Garnish with almonds or Pistachio. Allow to cool down completely for 2-3 hours or fridge for 2-3 hours.
  5. Cut the burfi with your desired choice.
  6. Enjoy !!!!
My Tip: -You can use coconut powder, chickpea flour or milk powder. - If your mixture has moisture than you can add some roasted rawa or chickpea flour to it. - You can use any of your desired dry fruits.
