ABOUT Bael Ka Sharbat Or Bela Panaa RECIPE

Bela Pana is one of the healthy and natural juice which acts as an antidote for sun stroke. It is an excellent cooler for stomach during summers and can be consumed to get rid of heat or Loo. It is easy to make and need very simple ingredients. You can make it sweet and salty it depends on your taste and like.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 - Ripe Bael fruit
  2. 1/4 tsp - Crushed black pepper per glass
  3. 1/4 tsp - Black salt per glass
  4. Sugar as per taste
  5. 1 inch - Grated mango ginger
  6. Water as needed
  7. Mint leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. First break the Bael fruit and scoop out the fruit pulp with the help of a spoon. Discard the hard skin.
  2. Mash the pulp and soak in double amount of water for 10 minutes. Now with the back of a spoon mash the pulp or you can use your hands to do this also.
  3. Sieve the soaked pulp with a heavy strainer by pressing it with the help of spoon. Remove seeds and discard insoluble fiber.
  4. Mix salt, crushed black pepper, grated mango ginger and sugar in sieved juice. Depending on the sweetness of the bael fruit, you have to add sugar. I have not added any sugar, as mine was more sweet.
  5. Pour into individual glasses and add some ice cubes or keep in refrigerator till you want to serve. Serve this chilled bael sharbat to get instant relief from the heat stroke during summer.
  6. You can adjust the amount of water and sugar as per your taste.
