Ingredients to make Butterscotch cupcakes

  • Self raising flour-1 and a half cup
  • Eggs-3
  • Sugar-1 cup (powdered)
  • Butter-100 gm
  • Butterscotch chips-1 packet
  • baking powder-1 tsp
  • Vanilla essence-1 tbsp

How to make Butterscotch cupcakes

  1. Take a blender and mix the powdered sugar and eggs.Whisk till the eggs become whitish.
  2. To it add the butter at room temperature.Whisk well.
  3. Then add half of the flour mixture and vanilla essence.whisk again.
  4. Then add the baking powder and rest of the maida.
  5. Boil the butter scotch chips following the double boiler method.Once cooled,add this to the above mixture.Mix very well.
  6. Pour the mixture in cake mould.
  7. Preheat the microwave oven .
  8. Bake at convection mode at 180 for 35 min.
  9. Insert a fork.If it comes out clean,your cake is ready.
My Tip: If you are not able to find butterscotch chips,use butterscoth liquid sauce-6 tbsp.
