ABOUT Cheesy Macaroni RECIPE

Yellow yellow Dirty Fellow !! No No yellow yellow is a tasty fellow! I always say this to my child when its a Monday.As kids don't want to go to school specially on Mondays.So to give them a bribe, i make this cheesy macaroni to see the sunshine smile on their face.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 cups boiled macaroni (put some drops of oil in the boiled macaroni to avoid it from sticking)
  2. For Sauce :
  3. 2 tsp oil (olive oil, preferably)
  4. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  5. 2 onion medium sized finely sliced
  6. 3 tomatoes (make a paste of them)
  7. 3 to 4 cloves garlic (grated)
  8. salt as per taste
  9. 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  10. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  11. Black pepper powder (as per your taste)
  12. red chili powder (Optional)
  13. 1 tsp oregano flakes
  14. 1 tsp salted butter 
  15. Grated mozzarella cheese (for garnishing on the top)
  16. Fresh green coriander (for flavor and garnishing)
  17. You can sprinkle maggi masala on top of your macaroni (optional)

Instructions

  1. Take a wok add oil in it and add cumin seeds.
  2. Now add onions and grated garlic in it and fry till it turns translucent in color.
  3. Now add tomato paste in it.
  4. Stir it and simmer it for 5 to 7 minutes.
  5. Now add salt ,turmeric powder and tomato ketchup in it.
  6. Add red chili powder and stir it well.
  7. when the tomatoes are completely mushy and the masala is almost coooked ,then add pepper powder and oregano flakes.
  8. Now add butter to the sauce and mix it well.
  9. You can add little water ,around 2 tbsp if needed otherwise skip this step.
  10. Now finally add boiled macaroni and mix it and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  11. Turn off the flame and start plating your macaroni by garnishing it with a good amount of cheese and coriander leaves.
  12. Sprinkle some maggi masala on the top and enjoy .
