A thick and spicy ,tadke waali dal to go along with roti or rice.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Ghee 2 tbsp
  2. Mixed dal (include dal of your choices like masoor, moong, toor dal etc. ) 1/2 cup (soaked and boiled)
  3. Garam masala powder 2 tbsp
  4. Garlic chopped 2 cloves
  5. Ginger chopped 1tbsp
  6. Tomatoes (finely chopped) 2tbsp
  7. Cumin powder 2tbsp
  8. Coriander powder 1tbsp
  9. Red chilli powder 2tbsp
  10. 2 green chillies (chopped)

Instructions

  1. First, take a pan and put ghee into it . Once melted and heated, put ginger, garlic, chilli ,chopped tomatoes and saute it.
  2. Now add the powdered masalas and stir.
  3. cook till the masala leaves the oil.
  4. Now add the dal and salt and stir it.
  5. Now transfer it to a pressure cooker and add some water and leave it to cook for 10 minutes.
  6. once done, check for salt and serve.
