Ingredients to make Mango Fruti Bottle Cake

  • one empty fruti bottle
  • white chocolate chips - 1.5 cup
  • yellow edible colour
  • maida - 1.5 cup
  • Sugar - 1.5 cup
  • Butter - 1/4 cup
  • Eggs - 2
  • fresh mango pulp - 1 cup
  • baking soda - 1/4 tbsp
  • baking powder -1/2 tbsp
  • vanilla essencce

How to make Mango Fruti Bottle Cake

  1. whisk the softened butter and sugar for 5 minutes until it is creamy. then add eggs one by one. Sieve in the maida, baking powder, baking soda and vanilla essence and mix all them together gently by cut and fold method making sure that the batter is nit over mixed.
  2. pour the mixture into greased tin and bake it for 20-25 minutes, in a preheated oven at 165-170 degree celsius.
  3. meanwhile, melt white chocolate in microwave and divide it into 2 portions. To one portion, add yellow colour and to the other portion no colour must be added.
  4. take empty fruti bottle and cut it half in the middle, rub oil inside it and the pour yellow chocolate mixture to create a hollow cover.
  5. let it set for 5 minutes and then take the chocolate bottle out from plastic one.
  6. Chill the other portion of the melted white chocolate to room temperature and then mix mango puree. Whisk it till everything is combined. Chill this mango mousse mixture in the refrigerator.
  7. once cake is done, take it out from oven and let it cool.
  8. cut the cake in small circles so that it fits in the chocolate bottle
  9. Layer the cake pieces and the mango mousse mixture alternatively and finally join the 2 halves of the chocolate bottle with some more melted chocolate applied to the edges.
  10. put the wrapper around the joint and your mango cake is ready

My Tip:

use alphonso mango for puree
