Ingredients to make 6 months birthday cake

  • coloured sugarpaste [as required]
  • Maida - 1.5 cups
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Oil - 1/4 cup
  • Eggs - 2
  • Mango essence few drops
  • Baking Powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • baking soda - 1/4 tbsp
  • Whipped cream [as required]
  • mixed fruit chunks [as required]

How to make 6 months birthday cake

  1. mix sugar and oil together till a paste like consistency is achieved.
  2. add eggs and essence and whisk it.Sieve the maida, baking powder and baking soda into the egg mixture. Fold and mix the batter.
  3. Pour this mixture into a greased baking mould. Bake the cake at 170 degree celsius , in a preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.
  4. Once the cake is cold enough , cut layers of the same .fill them with fruit chunks and whipped cream alternatively.
  5. Cover the cake with the yellow fondant or the sugar paste. Decorate accordingly.
