ABOUT Mango Mastani RECIPE

This drink is very famous in the city of pune, and uses the luscious mangoes for the same.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Mango- 3 medium
  2. Sugar- 3 to 4 tbsp (depends upon the sweetness of the mangoes)
  3. Vanilla ice cream – 3 scoops
  4. Chilled milk- 400ml
  5. Ice cubes- 6 to 7
  6. For garnishing:
  7. Almond- 6 to 7
  8. Sliced cashew- 6 to 7
  9. Raisin- 9
  10. Tutti frutti- 3tbsp
  11. Vanilla ice cream- 6tbsp
  12. Cherry- 3

Instructions

  1. Soak the mangoes in water to remove the dirt. Then peel the mangoes and cut them into small cubes. One should get 1 ½ cup of mango cubes from the above mango.
  2. Keep 3 tbsp of mango cubes separately. Slice the cashew nuts. Soak and peel the almonds and slice them and keep aside.
  3. In a blender jar add mango cubes, sugar, milk,, ice-cream and ice cubes and blend. It should be mixed properly. Mango mastani is ready
  4. For serving: Take three glasses and place chopped mango cubes (which was kept separately before). Then add a scoop of vanilla ice cream in each glass. Then pour the blended drink to the glass filling it up to ¾. Then place another scoop of ice cream on the top of the drink. Then add sliced almond, cashew nuts, raisin, tutti frutti and cherry.
