ABOUT Mango Macarons RECIPE

No added color or added flavour. This is an absolute summer bliss. Macarons are originally from france and a very delicate dessert.

Ingredients Serving: 20

  1. Egg whites - 2
  2. Castor sugar 1 cup
  3. Icing sugar 2 cups
  4. almond meal 1 cup
  5. Mango puree 1/2 cup
  6. Melted white chocolate 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. whip egg whites until glossy and soft peaks stage is attained. Then add the castor sugar, while whisking it.
  2. sift icing sugar and almond meal together into the egg mixture.
  3. gently fold the both mixture together, so that it does not deflate the air out.
  4. fill the mixture into piping bag and pipe them out on to a greased tray lined with baking paper, into small dollops.
  5. Tap the tray on floor to release bubbles and keep it aside for 40 minutes to one hour.
  6. bake the macaroons at 180 c for 7-10 minutes, in a preheated oven.
  7. To make the filling, mix mango puree and chocolate, whisk it. Pour this into a piping bag fitted with a nozzle.
  8. pipe the filling on the rear end of the baked macaron. Cover it with another.
  9. cool them well and your macarons are ready.
