Chicken in Green colored gravy topped with thinly sliced ginger, is so delicious and tempting. You cannot stop drooling !

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chicken 1/2 kg
  2. A Bunch of coriander leaves (60gm)
  3. Salt to taste
  4. 1 inch cinnamon stick
  5. 10 black peppercorns
  6. 1 bay leaf
  7. 1 tea spoon Red Chilly Powder
  8. Pinch of turmeric
  9. 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  10. 2 table spoon ginger garlic paste
  11. 1 medium size onion sliced

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with salt, red chilli and turmeric for 15 minutes
  2. Heat about 2 tbsp of oil in a pan, add the chopped onion and saute till golden brown.
  3. Now add all the spices. Stir for 2 mins
  4. After 2 mins, add marinated chicken
  5. Stir for 5- 7 minutes on medium flame
  6. Meanwhile make paste of coriander adding 2 tablespoon of water in a mixer
  7. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for another 5 minutes
  8. Now Add Coriander paste . Mix well
  9. Let the chicken simmer for 15 minutes
  10. Cover with the lid
  11. After 15 minutes check if chicken is tender. Cooking time depends on quality of chicken too.
  12. Serve hot , garnishing with thinly sliced ginger
