ABOUT PANEER TIKKA MASALA RECIPE

Soft succullent square pieces of cottage cheese bathed in yogurt and spices and grilled over tandoor which is then cooked in a tomato based gravy. This is one of the most commonly and most ordered item from the restaurant menu. It also happens to be a very easy preparation.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. What You Need For Marination: Paneer Cubes 250 grams
  2. Capsicum Deseeded and Cut to small pieces 2
  3. Curd 1 cup
  4. Tadoori Chicken Masala 2 tbsp
  5. Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Sugar 1 tsp
  8. Ingredients for the gravy :
  9. Juicy Tomatoes 4 pureed
  10. oil 2 tbsp
  11. Green cardamom 2
  12. Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  13. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  14. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  15. Ingredients for the Tempering :
  16. Butter 1 tsp
  17. Kasuri methi 1 tsp
  18. Crème / Malai 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. ​Marinate Paneer with the rest of the ingredients mentioned under "marination", and put in a baking tray.
  2. Heat microwave at 180 degree centigrade.
  3. Bake Paneer for 16 to 18 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a kadai.
  5. Add cardamom, cloves and cumin seeds.
  6. Add ginger garlic paste and tomato puree. Cover and cook on low for 15 minutes.
  7. Add the cooked paneer marination. Mix gently.
  8. Heat butter in a small pan.
  9. Add kasuri methi and cream As you smell the nice aroma coming out, add it to kadai.
  10. Mix , cover and cook for 2 minutes more.
  11. Your Paneer Tikka Masala is ready in a blink of eye.
  12. Serve with hot Phulkas.
