ABOUT Mango Truffles RECIPE

This is an innovation of mine as i wanted to do something different with the mangoes.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. mango-1big size
  2. sugar-3tbls or the sweet of mango
  3. dry milk-2tbls
  4. dessicated coconut-150 gm
  5. almonds for decoration

Instructions

  1. Peel and wash Mango .Dice it and grind in mixer grinder with sugar to form a smooth paste .
  2. Heat the mango puree with sugar. The amount of sugar will depend on the quality and sweetness of the mango
  3. Let it simmer on medium to low heat for 20 minutes. . Keep 3 tbsp coconut aside for rolling truffles. Mix rest of the coconut with dry milk and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Take off the gas and let the mixture cool for around 15-20 minutes.
  4. When the mixture has cooled down a little and is comfortable to handle, make balls of desired size.
  5. Roll in coconut and and sprinkle chopped almonds.
