ABOUT Bhindi raita RECIPE

Deep fried lady fingers, when added to curd, seasoned with spice powders results in a tongue tickling bhindi raita.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups chopped lady finger ( cut it cross ).
  2. 2 cups whisked curd.
  3. 1/2 tsp cumin ( jeera) powder.
  4. 1/2 tsp black salt powder.
  5. Salt to taste.
  6. 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves for garnishing.

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan .
  2. Deep fry the lady fingers till they turn crisp and golden brown in colour.
  3. Drain on absorbent or tissue paper and keep aside.
  4. Add the fried lady fingers in the whisked curd with the other spices mix well.
