#Paneer Butter Masala

Ingredients to make #Paneer Butter Masala

  • Onion 2(big)
  • tomatoes 2
  • Ginger paste 1 tesp
  • Green chilies 1
  • Salt 3/4 tesp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tesp
  • Cinnamon powder 1/4 tesp
  • Sugar 1 tesp
  • Garam masala powder 1 tesp
  • Kasoori Methi 1 tbsp
  • Fresh cream 200 ml
  • Cottage cheese 200 gm
  • Oil 1 tbsp

How to make #Paneer Butter Masala

  1. Finely chop onion.
  2. Grind the tomatoes and green chili to a fine paste.
  3. Cut cottage cheese in two inches cubes.
  4. Heat oil in a wok.
  5. Add onions and cook until light pink.
  6. Add ginger paste and stir for a while.
  7. Add ground tomatoes paste. Stir well.
  8. Add salt and turmeric powder. Mix.
  9. Cook till oil starts separating on sides of wok.
  10. Add sugar, garam masala powder and cinnamon powder. Mix well.
  11. Add fresh cream. Mix well and give a boil.
  12. Simmer the heat. Let it cook until cream gets little frothy.
  13. Add crushed Kasoori methi and give a nice stir.
  14. Mix in cottage cheese. Switch off the flame.
  15. Paneer butter masala is ready.
