Matar paneer

Ingredients to make Matar paneer

  • 250 gm Paneer
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 2 onion
  • 1 pod garlic
  • 2 inch ginger
  • cilantro [handful]
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1tsp
  • Coriender powder 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
  • oil
  • Water

How to make Matar paneer

  1. In wok dry roast chopped onions, garlic,cumin and ginger for 10 minutes until it becomes golden brown now add 2 tablespoon of oil and 1 spoon chopped Cilantro. saute for 5 minutes more. Cool the mixture and grind it.
  2. Now in wok heat oil add chopped garlic and the above paste ,cook until it start leaving oil. Now add all powdered spices ,peas and salt saute for 5 minutes add water cook for 10 minutes add paneer .
  3. Cook for 2-3 minutes n switch off the flame and garnish with fresh cream and chopped cilantro .
