ABOUT Aloo tikkis pizza RECIPE

This is a tempting potato based appetizer , with the fusion of Indian tikkis with the Italian pizaa. An innovative fusion recipe by me.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Mozzarella cheese [as required]
  2. boiled corn kernels 1/2 cup
  3. 5 Potatoes Boiled
  4. 1 tsp red chilly powder
  5. 1 tsp Salt
  6. 2 capsicum
  7. 1 tbsp Rice Flour
  8. Oil for shallow frying
  9. Fruit salt
  10. Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp
  11. 1 tsp Paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes and mash them. Keep aside.
  2. Add red chilly powder ,salt ,coriander powder ,fruit salt and rice flour to the mashed potatoes.
  3. Mix everything very well mix thoroughly and form small roundels.
  4. Divide into equal sized balls and pat slightly .
  5. Now heat oil in a pan or griddle shallow fry the tikki at a medium flame from both sides.
  6. For toppings heat a pan and stir fry the boiled corn and capsicum. don't overcook, fry it for about 10 minutes and this is done.
  7. Now place tikkis on the plate apply tomato sauce on tikkis top with the capsicum , corns and then sprinkle geenerous amounts of grated mozzarella cheese on top
