Raw Mango Oats Khandvi

Ingredients to make Raw Mango Oats Khandvi

  • Mango Puree-1cup
  • oats-1cup
  • besan-1cup
  • Asafoetida [hing] - about a pinch
  • turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • oil-1tlbs
  • buttermilk [11/2 cup or as required]

How to make Raw Mango Oats Khandvi

  1. Grind and dry roast oats and keep aside. In bowl, add dry roasted oats, besan, salt, haldi, mango puree, buttermilk and make a batter.
  2. Make sure there are no lumps in it. In pan, pour this batter and keep on stirrng it evenly to avoid lump formation. Continuously stir it for about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Then pour a portion of this mixture on back side of plate. Spread it evenly as thin as possible. Leave it for a while and cut into thin strips. Roll strips and cut in into 1 inch piece and place it in a plate.
  4. For tadka, in pan, add oil. Add rai, leaves, hing, green chilies, curry leaves and turn off flame. Pour this tadka on Mango Oats khandvi and garnish with grated coconut and serve.
