ABOUT Pineapple Rice RECIPE

This recipe is the vegetarian version of THAI PINEAPPLE RICE.Vieatnamese white rice paired with pineapple,veggies and Indian Spices.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cooked rice 2 cups
  2. Finely chopped onion 1 medium
  3. Chopped tomato 1/2 cup
  4. Chopped fresh pineapple 1 1/4 cup
  5. Diced red,green,yellow bell pepers 1 cup
  6. Ginger garlic paste 1tsp
  7. Haldi 1/2 Tsp
  8. Olive oil 1Tbsp
  9. Corriander powder 1tsp
  10. Garam masala 1/2 Tsp
  11. Hing A pinch
  12. Salt As per taste
  13. Chopped fresh corriander leaves 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Cook white rice as you cook normally.
  2. Heat a wide pan on medium heat and add oil.
  3. When oil turns hot lower the gas flame add chopped onions,ginger garlic paste ,Hing and saute for 1 minute.
  4. After one minute add haldi,tomatoes add bell pepers. Add salt to the mixture and cover with lid for 2-3 minites.
  5. Now add pineapple,corriander powder mix well.
  6. Finally add cooked rice little by little to the veggie mixture and add garam masala to it.
  7. Garnish with corriander leaves.
