ABOUT Zunkha RECIPE

This dish is from Maharashtra. Very delicious and is mainly eaten with Bakhar made with rice flour.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup besan
  2. 1 chopped onion
  3. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  4. 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  5. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  6. 2 red dry chilli
  7. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  8. 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  9. 1 Tablespoon chopped garlic
  10. Handful of coriander leaves chopped
  11. 2 Tablespoons Oil
  12. salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. Firstly take bowl put Besan and add 2 cup water and mix it nicely and put aside.
  2. Then take kadhai put oil heat it, then add cumin seeds Crackling them.
  3. After that add chopped garlic, dry red chilli and saute for 1 min.
  4. Then add onion and saute till onion get transluscent.
  5. Then add salt, Turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, Besan mixture and on low flame stir it continually.
  6. After get thickening off the flame and served with rice flour roti.
