ABOUT Custard Cookies RECIPE

An easy version of the Indian cookies, with the usage of the custard powder. Melt in the mouth cookies for evening teas or can be served as snacks to the kids.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Ghee 1 cup
  2. Icing sugar 1 cup
  3. Maida 1 cup
  4. Custard Powder 1 cup
  5. Vanilla essence Few drops
  6. Mixed fruit peels 1/2 cup
  7. white chocolate chips 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together to form a soft dough. Chill this dough in the fridge for about 10 minutes or till the dough is firm enough to roll.
  2. Now make small roundels out of the dough and place them on a baking tray lined with butter paper.
  3. Make some indentations with fork and bake them at 180 degree celsius for about 12 minutes.
  4. Let them cool down properly and then store in air tight container.
