ABOUT Sev gathiya RECIPE

A recipe from my childhood, My granny used to make this for us during on HOli.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chickpea flour 1/2kg
  2. Asoefodia 1/4 teaspoon
  3. Salt 1 teaspoon
  4. Turmeric powder 1/4teaspoon
  5. Chaat masala 1teaspoon
  6. Kasoori methi 1/2teaspoon
  7. Red Chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Oil 2 tablespoons
  9. Oil for frying
  10. Water for kneading

Instructions

  1. Sieve the flour .
  2. Make a dough of it adding all the spices and oil
  3. Now keep oil for frying on medium flame .
  4. Fill the dough portion in sev maker machine
  5. Press it in oil and fry till golden
