ABOUT Methi fish RECIPE

This is my innovation with the mix of methi [fenugreek] into soft fish, to give a burst of flavours on the palate.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Any type fish 1/2 kg,
  2. big onion two chopped,
  3. 2 tomatoes chopped,
  4. 4green chillies splitted,
  5. amul cream 1 table spoon,
  6. kashmiri chilli powder 2 tea spoon,
  7. corriander powder 1 tea spoon,
  8. turmeric 1 tea spoon,
  9. salt according to taste,
  10. ginger garlic paste 1 table spoon,
  11. kasoori Methi 1 table spoon,
  12. whole spices like cinnamon 1 inch
  13. star annise - 2
  14. cloves- 2

Instructions

  1. Make paste of chilli powder, turmeric powder,coriander powder and salt.
  2. Marinate the fish and fry.
  3. Keep the fried pieces in the same left oil, add the whole spices and other ingredients except fish, cream and methi.
  4. Once oil separates add fish, methi, cook for sometime and serve. Add some water for gravy, bring upto boil, check for seasoning and serve.
